Well it’s coming rapidly to the tail end of yet another summer holiday break- I will no longer be posting pointless updates on the site pertaining to holidays. From now on random thoughts.

1 Tube, 2 Tube Ed’s on YouTube.

Well it’s that time again for the weekly update- with so much going on already this new year is off to a strong start (well strong is kind of a strong word) So a start none the less.

So without much further delay (4 years, yes I get it!) I will be introducing a new feature for YouTube of my works in progress and other works documented on this site. So come join me as I take the long overdue baby steps to learn the rudiments of video editing and presentation and, who knows, might even draw a few pictures too.

2008-2011: A brief retrospective of a made up career.

Another year has gone by 2010, we’re another year closer to the Mayan prophesied “end of days” so to speak, (why they couldn’t decipher “C-O-N-Q-U-I-S-T-A-D-O-R-E-S-!” on that giant stone Ouija board we may never know) but yeah if only for my own ego- I figured: hey, why not take regular updating with posts on my own sight more seriously?

Well lets face it 2008 though interesting, I produced some real gems in the plastic bachelorettes tiara of creative bankruptcy- 2009 had me lugging boxes of A4 frames to a place where paper and glass shouldn’t be seen together out of mutual respect for each other’s fragility; and 2010 at least in the closing months had me making a complete overhaul of method, style, material, composition and most importantly pricing.

Now it’s January 2011,there’s the iciness of the Summer which had me putting in an appearance at the New Years Eve, Harbour Party that turned out to be something of a wise move- I like to party where there’s wireless Internet and flushing toilets (kind of fussy in that respect) when the park is transformed into an over 18′s, alcohol serving, brilliant music playing, pre booked ticket only attending extravaganza for the senses.

Not to mention I’ve been pretty much non stop since the year began, for some reason the post Christmas momentum is still pervasive though disapates rapidly towards the closing days of the Summer break and I have to take a look at how I’m doing and how to improve…

What this year’s going to hold?- Well let me make it through the holidays and updates will be coming through soon.

And yes with increased from my usual once every 2 month report.
