About
The Story so far…
I was originally from Melbourne, now based in Sydney. Although I have qualifications in Graphic Design and I’ve studied Fine Arts and animation; I’m predominantly self-taught and adept in skills ranging from purely digital work to traditional media such as hand drawing, painting and sculpture. I would also consider myself something of a writer, if at the very least when blogging.
I began business working as a freelance artist 2006…while holding several dead end jobs over the years, to keep me going as I found work on various independent commissions. Such jobs included waaay too much telemarketing however jobs like those do lend themselves to many hours of time killing doodling, which is, when I think about it, about one of the few things that kept me sane and
In the April holidays of 2008 I took over as the cartoonist at Luna Park Sydney a position I relish and enjoy immensely because it not only has given me a chance to grow and improve as an artist but given me an awesome place to sit.
And for that matter my chairs at my little booth across from the Ferris Wheel opposite the Tango Train are the best seats in the place that aren’t attached to something that moves. I’m there nearly every weekend and friday night*, for the most up too date updates on my movements with regards to that be sure to follow me on twitter, or contact Luna Park Sydney direct www.Lunaparksydney.com
Thanks for checking things out here
